The enthusiasm to welcome Christmas could be seen on the faces of the Fajar Baru Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA) children, who were full of joy and warmth. Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna), together with its business partner KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, through a charity program, held social activities at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
The charity took place on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, and was attended by Mrs. Adriana R. Novitasari, Chief of Human Capital Bank Sampoerna, and Mr. Yoel Gennedy, representing KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati. Apart from that, the event was also attended by representatives from the Sampoerna Group, including from the Putera Sampoerna Foundation and the Sampoerna Employee Cooperative.
The event began with a group prayer led by Mr. Benny Dwi Nugroho, accompanied by songs and dances by the children of LKSA Fajar Baru. The event then continued by inviting LKSA Fajar Baru children to play and have recreation at the Science and Technology Demonstration Center and ride the cable car. On this occasion, Bank Sampoerna, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, and other Sampoerna Group business units donated Rp100 million to LKSA Fajar Baru.
"We, on behalf of the management of LKSA Fajar Baru, would like to thank the employees of Bank Sampoerna and KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and the Sampoerna Group for the assistance provided. We will use this assistance to continue building the school, which was stopped due to lack of funds," said Sister Aldegonda, who is responsible for accompanying the children in her care.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
