On October 10th, we commemorate World Mental Health Day, an important moment reminding us of equal access to mental health services without discrimination. World Mental Health Day is not only about awareness but also about action. Through this moment, we would like to thank you all who until now have continued to faithfully help and provide your care through donations of Hati Saving Product to Pembinaan Anak Cacat Foundation (YPAC) Jakarta and Sayap Ibu Foundation (YSI) Jakarta Branch in collaboration with Bank Sahabat Sampoerna.
Until now, total donations distributed during July - September 2024 amounted to Rp62,976,407, with each foundation receiving Rp31,488,203.
Bank Sahabat Sampoerna would like to thank all Hati Saving customers who faithfully saved their funds in Hati Saving and donated a portion of the interest to share with others and help people in need. Hopefully, these two foundations will benefit all involved.

Description of illness : Cerebral Palsy
Raffi is a child with Cerebral Palsy who is unable to produce sound when communicating and can only respond to others through body movements. Raffi participating in a program to enhance his receptive abilities, such as learning the alphabet by imitating the therapist’s speech to practice consonant pronunciation and articulation.
Additionally, Rafii is learning to respond to questions by pointing to images on flashcards and becoming familiar with numbers through puzzle activities and counting objects.
After undergoing Speech Therapy for three years, Raffi now has a solid understanding of objects, letters, and numbers. Raffi can mention vowels and some consonants, and he communicates using gestures taught by his therapist, which he applies when interacting with his family.

Description of illness : Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)
Wangi was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), a disorder characterized by difficulty concentrating, lack of focus, and restlessness if not doing activities. There are also obstacles to understanding language, communication, and social interaction.
To overcome this, Wangi undergoes Sensory Integration/Occupational Therapy twice weekly for stimulation and early intervention services. After receiving sensory integration/occupational therapy routinely, Wangi has begun to show significant improvement and can focus more on concentrating her attention.

During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
In the spirit of Christmas, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) partnered with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati (KSP SMS), Sampoerna Land, and Putera Sampoerna Foundation (PSF) organized a charity event on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Gramedia World BSD. This time, the event aimed to bring joy to the children of Pintu Elok, an orphanage located in Pamulang, Banten. Attendees included Mr. Ivan Giarto, Chief Digital Business of BSS; Mr. Judy, the head of Pintu Elok; 45 children from the orphanage; and several employees from BSS, KSP SMS, and PSF.

The enthusiasm to welcome Christmas can be seen on the faces of the Fajar Baru Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA) children, who are full of joy and warmth.
