In the end of 2021, Bank Sampoerna collaborates with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar to hold a corporate social responsibility activity for Christmas. The bank paid a visit to Dwituna Rawinala Education Foundation, which is located in Pasar Rebo, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on December 21, 2021. Henky Suryaputra and Adriana R. Novitasari, as well as several employees, were in attendance representing the bank. The event was also joined by Dwihardjo Sutarto, Executive Director of the foundation and Fr. Laurens Tueng OFM who gave a sermon. Beside of that, some of the bank’s employee also joined the event virtually via zoom.
On that occasion, Bank Sampoerna, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, and Mekar contributed Rp 97,374,000 to the foundation that was received directly by Dwihardjo. The donation comes from employee and company contributions.
The performances of the musicians, all of whom were disabled, made the event unforgettable. Their lack of vision, intelligence, hearing, or pronunciation has no bearing on their ability to play musical instruments.
“This activity seeks to instill gratitude and a spirit of sharing, foster tolerance among religious communities, and invite all employees to share joy in the momentum of Christmas and New Year celebrations,” Henky said in his speech.
As part of its commitment to promoting financial literacy from an early age, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (BSS) hosted its "Adventure at Bank Sahabat Sampoerna" program on Thursday (June 25) in Jakarta. The program welcomed 46 students from Grade 4 of elementary school to Grade 9 of junior high school and was officially opened by BSS Director of Information Technology, Hendra Rahardja.
In the spirit of Eid al-Adha and as part of its commitment to supporting the surrounding community, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one sacrificial cow to Sampoerna Land for distribution to residents in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square area.
During the holy month of Ramadan, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna, in collaboration with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati, organized an iftar (breaking of the fast) gathering with the children of Yayasan Al Kahfi in Central Jakarta. The event was held as part of the institutions’ commitment to sharing joy and togetherness with the children during the blessed month of Ramadan.
On December 16, 2025, in celebration of Christmas, Bank Sampoerna held a social activity at Desa Putera Orphanage as a form of care and an effort to share happiness with the children.
To increase social awareness toward the surrounding community during Eid al-Adha, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna donated one cow to Sampoerna Land to be distributed to those in need around the Sampoerna Strategic Square building.
