Amira Ramadhanti, now 17 years old, is a young woman with hearing and speech impairment who is currently attending school while undergoing speech therapy at YPAC Jakarta.

Because of her hearing limitations, Amira relies on non-verbal communication to express her daily needs. Her interaction skills are continuously developed through lip-reading exercises and vocabulary building using visual aids.

In her daily life, Amira is cooperative, receptive to guidance, and highly enthusiastic about her therapy sessions. She remains committed to attending therapy regularly, even during school holidays. Her socialization skills and emotional regulation have also improved.

Currently, Amira’s therapy focuses on concentration, attention, and foundational skills through activities such as puzzles, letter tracing, and color matching. After seven years of therapy and entering adolescence, her program now focuses on maintaining her existing abilities while fostering independence in daily activities.

Diagnosis : Global Development Delay & Cerebral Palsy Diplegia

Wahyu, now 5 years and 9 months old, is a child with Global Developmental Delay (GDD) and spastic diplegic cerebral palsy who actively participates in physiotherapy, speech therapy, and sensory integration therapy at YPAC Jakarta.

When he first began the therapy program, Wahyu could not walk, did not respond well to interactions, and had limited vocabulary comprehension. Through regular physiotherapy and specialized therapeutic footwear, his muscle strength has improved enough that he can now walk.

Progress is also evident in his communication skills. Wahyu has begun to understand various words, including the names of body parts and objects around him. He can now respond when called, recognize his friends' names, and is starting to progress from speaking simple words to forming sentences.

Wahyu has also started attending an inclusive early childhood education (PAUD) program. He is enthusiastic about learning activities and can understand simple classroom rules. His communication skills, focus, and enthusiasm continue to grow as he progresses through the program.
