Bank Sampoerna Becomes a Resource Person in the Gatra Anniversary Charity Workshop

To welcome Gatra’s 26th anniversary, Gatra Media Group invited Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) to become a speaker at the Gatra Anniversary Charity Workshop which was held virtually on December 10, 2012, entitled Resilient MSMEs in the Pandemic Period.

Bank Sampoerna, represented by Mr Rudy Mahasin as Director of Micro Business of Bank Sampoerna, took the theme of Capital for the development of MSMEs. Other resource persons at the event were Mr Nasrun as Assistant for Entrepreneurship Development at the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM RI and Mr Edward Sutanto as at UMKM. Also, no less than 50 MSME players attended the event.

In his presentation, Mr Rudy Mahasin said that even with the limited number of branches, Bank Sampoerna could still reach MSME players throughout Indonesia. The way is by establishing a partnership with Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) Sahabat Mitra Sejati, which has 97 branches and 30 thousand members throughout Indonesia.

Besides, Pak Rudy continued, Bank Sampoerna also has a digital-based business model in financing MSMEs. Through the PDaja.com service, MSME players can apply for financing online anywhere and anytime.

“During this pandemic, we are optimistic and committed to continuing to channel loans to business people in Indonesia,” said Mr Rudy closing his presentation.

Sharing Iftar Package with Orphans and the Underprivileged 2022

Bank Sahabat Sampoerna and its strategic partners, KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar held a donation program for orphans and the underprivileged to welcome Ramadan 1443 H. On Wednesday, April 13, 2022, the event was held at the Yatim and Duafa Yauma Dormitory (Dormitory Yauma), Paseban, Senen, Central Jakarta. The donations given consisted of iftar packages and relief funds of IDR 15,000,000.

In the end of 2021, Bank Sampoerna collaborates with KSP Sahabat Mitra Sejati and Mekar to hold a corporate social responsibility activity for Christmas. The bank paid a visit to Dwituna Rawinala Education Foundation, which is located in Pasar Rebo, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, on December 21, 2021. Henky Suryaputra and Adriana R. Novitasari, as well as several employees, were in attendance representing the bank. The event was also joined by Dwihardjo Sutarto, Executive Director of the foundation and Fr. Laurens Tueng OFM who gave a sermon. Beside of that, some of the bank’s employee also joined the event virtually via zoom.
