On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Bank Sampoerna visited one of its inspiring customers, Mrs. Susi, a cracker entrepreneur. As a form of appreciation, Bank Sampoerna supported her business with a refrigerator that Mrs. Susi and her husband received. Present representing Bank Sampoerna were Mr. Ivan Giarto (Chief of Digital Business), Mr. Pandu Ketaren (Corporate Legal & Litigation Div. Head), Mr. Ridy Sudarma (CCIR Div. Head), and Mr. Yudi Bhaskara (BM Jababeka Branch).
"We started our business from a simple hut. I used to fry around 20 kg of crackers daily, and then we offered them to stalls and grocery stores nearby. At that time, it was very difficult for us to find loans, and we were even rejected by several banks because they didn't believe in our business. Alhamdulillah, after meeting Bank Sampoerna, our business was able to grow significantly. Now there are employees who help fry, and the crackers are only sold to office catering," said Mrs. Susi, highlighting the transformative impact of Bank Sampoerna's support on her business.
Mrs. Susi's cracker business, which has been running for approximately ten years, now has 40 regular customers who are catering entrepreneurs. By pocketing feasibility and halal test certificates, Mrs. Susi produces more than 500 kg of crackers per day.
